I believe it is a violation of FTC regs to buyout contracts, but whether or not that is true Sprint has never AFAIK offered contract buyouts and I've been selling Sprint since Apr 05.

Business account reps can pull enough credits and freebies to effective pay for all your etf but I doubt they will do it on a 4 lines account. One thing they absolutely will not do is to give you cash to pay your etf. Third party dealers may pay part of your etf from their commission though, in order to get the activations.

I have never heard of it happening....I have heard of them letting a friend drop his service after 8 months, and not charging the early disconnect.....Even that is probably rare though...

Since ETF's are pro-rated anymore with most carriers, it would be something a 3rd party seller might do, or help with. It would come as credits on your sprint account as opposed to cash in hand to give to AT&T.

Call around the 3rd party sellers in your area and see if any will offer you an additional incentive to switch. It cant hurt to ask, and they might be able and willing to do up to $100 per line to get the activations.

Not much chance for a family account, but that happens all the time for business accounts. Sprint is not the only carrier who does this either.
