There are many TP 2 threads out there, but I think we need just one, so here it is. Talk and ask questions all you want about the Touch Pro 2.

I'm in the same boat. My 2.5 year old Motorola Q is dying and I was holding out until the Pre comes out. I followed it on the forums for 4 months and now I decided I would rather stick with WinMo and a bigger keyboard.

So I considered just getting the Touch Pro right now, however the Touch Pro 2 just looks soooooo much better. So what I ended up doing is just buying a $50 phone off ebay to replace my Motorola Q (I could seriously write a 3 page essay on the problems it is having now hehe) and hold me off until the Touch Pro 2 comes out here on Sprint.

I waited so long for the Pre though that I really really really do not want to have to wait another 4 months for the TP2 to come out.

So...has there been any other rumored dates other than mid June. I highly doubt Mid-June myself. We knew about 3 weeks out when the TP came out in Oct.

I am thinking the person who was told about the mid june release.

The person who told him probably got the dates between the TP 2 and the Snap mixed up. I think the TP 2 will be here sometime in July.

I hate to ask this because it turned ugly in the Pre forums, but has anyone heard whether or not original SERO planholders will be able to get the TP2 on their plan?

From what I have seen, most people think that you will be able to use any plan on the TP2. I think it is because windows phones are still useful even without an internet connection (calendar, office mobile, etc.) so they wont require you to upgrade to an everything data plan like they did for the Pre (which needs the internet to really function at all).

This is another reason I ended up deciding against the Pre and am just going to wait for the TP2, which now that I watched some reviews, looks much better than the Pre for what I want.

There has been no talk about making a plan requirement for the phone and seems the TP and none of the other business PDA's require one, I would say no.

When is the Touch Pro 2 coming out?? some said late June other more like Q4 November to make it a big Holiday seller.

Why in the world was a new thread started about this when the other Diamond2/Pro2 speculation thread is going strong? The phone isn't out yet and there's no real news about it. Seems sort of like a narcissistic urge to get a stickied thread...

Yes, I did. My response: there's already a monolithic thread on the Pro 2.

I could understand if this thread was started to introduce some previously unknown information, but half of the posts here are requests for "sticky."
