Touch Pro 2 - Release date?

With the posts about the mid-June release and now posts regarding a release some time in July, I was wondering if anyone has any info on a suspected date in July.

I am just wondering because I will be switching to sprint -- was planning on getting the Pre on June 6 or a few days later.

I have read some reviews that the keyboard on the Pre is pretty bad so if it turned out that I didnt like the Pre, I would want to get the TP2.

So basically, if the TP2 came out within the first week in July, I would still be in my 30 days and could switch to the TP2.

Should I wait a few weeks after the Pre release to be safe?

I wouldn't hold your breath. the "Snap" is coming out June 7th, dont have a date on the TP2 yet. Hopefully July.

I am hoping that with the Pre priced at 199 after rebate that the older HTC models will come down in price.

Sprint still has plenty of inventory on the Diamond and Touch Pro's. No need to compete with themselves by launching the part 2 series. The Pre will hit soon. Prices will drop on several devices. I would bet the 2 series hits right after Summer.

im getting tired of waiting 4 tp2 to come out. i dont know y the pre is getting all this hype when the tp2 is far Superior. palm pre is a piece of garbage if u ask me. windows base phones r more versatile than other phones and alot of user made apps r free. sprints version of the tp2 looks ugly but its the best phone out there in my opinion.(ill miss the iphone resemblence) my current tp is good but the screen is killing me. WILL SPRINT PLEASE GIVE A LAUNCH DATE OR ILL GO 2 T-MOBILE & GET TP2 IMPORT.

Guys, some STORES have them now so instead of just waiting for it to show up online maybe you should start CALLING! A medium sized store in Grand Rapids, MI got 2 in last week and are getting 2 more in this week. The 2 last week 1 became a demo and the other became the store owners new phone. The 2 this week are MINE. After mine get picked up I'll find out when he'll get more in and see if he'll take like paypal or something and ship them.

don't be hatin just because you're too lazy to CALL around, call all the decent sized stores and ask about reserving one. The place I'm getting mine from is like 45 miles away from where I live but I want the phone so I made some calls....

had some time and called the only stores in the rapids area and none have even heard of the pro 2 let alone have iot so don't listen to someone with 5 posts BS.
