T-Mobile Unlimited for $40 dollars?

So a couple friends at work said they have an unlimited T-Mo plan for 40 dollars but I can't find anything about it.

Minutes, text, and web included.

Anyone?

I don't know anything about that being a public plan. $49.99 is a new deal they have for unlimited voice. No text/data on that plan.

That's what I said, but they insisted.

I'm sure I'll hear about it next month when their Tmobile bill is 300 dollars from texting and web access....

The $39.99 is the add a line price to their loyalty $49.99 unlimited voice plan.

You can add up to 4 additional lines @ $39.99 each if you qualify.

You must be a customer with a 22 month tenure and good payment history to qualify.

Definitely one of the best deals around for voice centric users.

I got my parents this deal. They love it.

I don't know... T-Mobile? Really?

First they offered that $49.99 unlimited thing, now $40?

Thier coverage is horrible...
They barely have 3G...

Personally I think plans across the board are getting too cheap! I think that the most likely outcome for this is T-Mobile bringing in more scumbags that will not pay thier bills...

Dude, in this current economy many folks can't pay their bills not just cellular bills cause of job losses. And there are many who have to downsize their lifestyle and may goto t-mobile or prepaid services to cut cost. Your statement is pretty harsh, in my opinion.

I work for T-Mobile. There is no $40 Unlimted plan. It's $49.99 and it doesn't cover anything but voice at that price. The only thing close to the $40 everything is the employee's lines that are $9.99 for 2000 mins and free data and messaging. Actually, that's gonna change to $14.99 and $5.00 for data and messaging and we can have up to 4 lines that way, all with 2000 minutes each.

Not to thread cap, but I think for this reason MetroPCS is experiencing explosive growth. I been eyeing them in the stock market lately...

I believe it works out to $85 for unlimited minutes, data on devices like the G1 that have a special data plan, and text messaging. $15 cheaper a month than what sprint offers, but the included features might be different (GPS, etc)

$50 for unlimited minutes is not a bad deal though, considering T-Mobile with roaming agreements probably has the largest $50 unlimited voice network of all the offerings
