Problems sending picture Mail to other carriers using Touch Pro

Okay I know there are numerous threads about picture mail on the touch pro, but I didn't see anything about this. I can send picture mail to my work email and home email adress just fine. I can send picture mail to my other sprint phones just fine. However when I tried to send to someone with ATT and Verizon or Alltel, they never receive it. I can see where it says sent on my end but it never makes it to there end. I did the picture mail update. Just want to know if anyone else is experiencing this problem. It is not hit or miss it is always miss. I have been doing this for a couple of days now.

Others eventually get them but takes a long time to send, better off to send it via email or maybe text if that works.

It seems you have to adjust the picture size in the camera ... the file sizes are too big for other carriers.

picture mail sucks on this device, ive adjusted my pics to under 25kb and still get the sending message for hours and then the next day it says it failed, i have a better success rate on my mogul. the software must be really buggy. im calling sprint about it tomorrow

i could be wrong about this, but picture mail sends just fine, it's just that the picture mail system isn't necessarily compatible with other MMS out there. I've had mostly success with it (sending and receiving), but I do wish it was a more "standard" MMS that worked just like SMS.

I didn't realize the Diamond had another MMS option other than Picture Mail?

Kind of funny. The old MMS app works better and faster. I sent myself some pic mail and it shows up in the sprint pic mail app. Main thing is it works. Download the zip file from this thread install and its good to go. http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/sho...hack+for+mogul

To try to keep some picture quality I would open up the app then go to menu. Select MMS Configuration and towards the bottom, change the Photo Resolution to Original.
