Sprint releases picture mail update for all their windows mobile PDAs
Sprint has FINALLY released a picture mail update for their windows mobile phones. Go to softwarestore.sprint.com/wap from your phone's browser then free/demo then picture mail.
I found this out at my local sprint store. Enjoy! |

From a quick peek online, here are the phones that seems to have the update available:
Audiovox PPC 6600 HTC Mogul HTC Touch Motorola Q9 Motorola Q9C Palm Treo 800W The other phones listed don't have a visible link to the upgrade. |

I should clarify that this is for windows mobile phones that DON'T come with picture mail such as the Ace, Mogul, Q9C, Touch. The Diamond/Pro already have picture mail so this program does not apply to those phones.

it is working for me on my treo 800; however, the onscreen instructions at the download site are incorrect. it said to go to start>programs>messaging>new>picturemail. I did that at picturemail was not available, however, if i go into my pictures and select a picture, then menu then send picure mail i can send a picture mail or choose to upload it to my myspace site or to my sprint online picture album

question is can i get sprint to add picturemail back onto my account for free since they screwed up my account when I switched to the 700wx. I used to have it grandfathered into my plan, long story short I never had it added back at the time they "fixed" my plan because the phone didn't support it.

I installed it, then when I went to use it it asked me to accept or decline adding picture mail to my account for $5 /month. I have unlimited power vision. Sprint chat told me I have unlimited power vision plan not pack and therefore, I only have unlimited internet and email not even Sprint tv. I have accessed sprint tv plenty and never been charged extra. Does anyone really know anything there or do they just get lucky sometimes? Anyone here know anything about the plans and what they include?

Does anyone know if this works on WM6.1 Standard? I have the ace, and it downloads + installs just fine, but when I go to authenticate it, it says Picture Mail Error: G66: There was an error trying to register your phone.
Any help? |

I have an Ace and it worked fine for me.
 I registered my MySpace account and even sent one of my friends a few test pictures. I havn't heard back from him yet but he usually has his phone turned off while he is at work. I'm assuming it went through though because I didn't recieve any errors or anything when I sent it.
