or should i just scrub harder with this brasso stuff?
Just use a little more pressure if it isn't coming out, also be sure to rub it in circles.

Yea, the Applesauce seems more intended for the plastic housing as opposed to the polished metal. If youve got scratches on the polished metal, i would say use Brasso. But if youre looking to get rid of scratches on the plastic buy the Applesauce... or better yet that IceCreme stuff mentioned above. Ive read that stuffs a little better than the Applesauce

Wirelessly posted (samsung m800: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5F136 Safari/525.20)

I almost had to bust out the kleenex a little while ago. I dropped my iPhone (from about 3') face down, on the pavement. I have replaced almost brand new phones that have gotten barely scratched so you can imagine the thoughts going through my mind at this point. The sound of it seemed to echo in my head. I was afraid to look.

So I picked it up, preparing to see at least a crack if not worse, but couldn't make out much in the dark. Went inside and could tell there were no cracks but there were several pock marks all over the screen. I'm immediately asking myself how much it will cost to get myself back to a pristine iPhone. It was the end of the world... until I peeled off the Crystal Clear screen protector from Power Support. It was as if nothing happened. There is a slight mark on the chrome rim but I consider myself fortunate despite that.

The Power Support films are truly the best things I've ever used and I've always had a screen protector on my cell phone. My Sidekick II & 3, Ocean, both iPhones, Voyager, etc. By far, the best product I've used to date.

P.S. Ignore those stickers, those are there to keep to the Air Jacket from making contact with the iPhone (I took the case off to take the picture).

wow! so can i use Brasso and rub in on the Apple logo? AND the whole back portion of my Apple 3G as well? Even the sides (metallic silver) are covered with scratches....can i use this stuff on them too?

i was afraid it would wipe off the Apple logo! haha do advice.

I used it on the Apple, the white backing (black in your case), and the chrome sides, all of which worked without a problem. It might be possible to get the Apple off if you tried really hard for a really long time, but I can assure you that it won't happen with normal Brasso usage.
