HTC Diamond September Launch Confirmed by Sprint

According to inventory stock schedule, the HTC Diamond although was postponed/delayed from its initial Sept 2 2008 launch date will not be postponed to the next following month as feared but will be releases sometime in September it self.

We have "Sprint official" pricing also.

$549.99
-$150.00 (New Activation or Qualified Upgrade)
-$100.00 MIB (applicable ONLY to those line that already have data included in their plan or have a data plan that is $25.00+

Price $299.99 Please be advised that this price may drop $50.00 as their is " talk" of an "additional" $50.00 Instant Savings w/ the qualified $150.00 off with new activation or renewal of a 2yr agreement

If you looked at the playbook before you got out of work on Wednesday then you could have found more info on the Diamond ..

I dont work as a RCC anymore but I know the Playbook comes out Wednesday night

Thanks! I really wish they would give a date so we can quit trying guessing. If it is at the end of the month when is the Pro coming out? I mean are they really going to be 2 weeks apart or are we looking at a very late october date now... If we are talking 2 weeks i may seriously wait for the pro...

This would be consistent with what a Telesales rep told me yesterday. I called, saying I wanted to order the Diamond, and she said it would not be available until the first or second week of September - perhaps the 5th or the 12th. She said she'd phone me as soon as she saw it available in the system so I could purchase it. When I asked about the Pro, she had no detailed information of that model, but it seems that the info on the Diamond is pretty much "in the next week or two"...

A rep told me the same but she said that it would be at the end of September ..

I said thank you and then just hung up

Okay, so I just got to work roughly half an hour ago and some good news I guess. The Planogram has the HTC Diamond on it. All the proper advertising is going up, but no demo model or pricing. Also, no OFFICIAL launch date. We will be getting a large shipment of phones this Friday and if the Diamond is in there it would match a September 2nd release, if not, almost for sure it's delayed... I'll let you know what's up when I get more info.
