Google Maps Version 2.2.2 Released... Voice activation for the curve.

Appreciate the heads up, but the link doesn't work ???? I tried typing it into my BB no page found, then tried going to Google directly and downloading and it wants to load version 2.2.0 which is the most current version.

I got it to work. It is nice. I like the voice feature a lot.

you cant type what you see in the address bar, because part of the address is not showing. you need to either go to this page via your bb and then select the link or type this address in without the quotes (the stuff in red) ... or copy and paste the stuff in red and email it to yourself

Do I need to uninstall the previous version before installing this one?

EDIT: Looks like it's automatically replacing the old version with the new one.

Its says to press the left convenience key to activate the voice search but I have vllingo installed & assigned to that button (per their setup instructions). I have BBShortcuts assigned to the right one. I guess I'll try to find some sort of work'a'round.

A little off topic...Is there a way to edit icon look , Lets say google map voice icon...I don't like the look of it.

If gmaps is open, does that override vllingo? Just curious.
