Thumbs up BIG changes coming June 15th! - New plans, and such!

Hello everyone,

Just an update on a few meeting sessions we've had the past few days. On June 15th BIG changes are coming to Sprint. Without releasing anything too confidential. I will say the following...

New plans, new programs (both me), and Supr training (not me).

The new plans are based off of the SimplyEverything plans, and the Unlimited Messaging models. So, get ready!

Oh yeah, and PDAs must have data plans at all times, just the PowerVision.

THIS WILL NOT affect SERO nor SimplyEverything plans - those will STILL be there.

PLEASE NOTE: All other plans will no longer be advertised - customers with PowerPack, Free Incoming, Free & Clear, and Fair & Flexible will be grandfathered in though.

I also have $9.99 Unlimited Family Messaging US/Canada, $4.99 Unlimited Internet, three add-a-lines at $9.99 a piece, and $2.00 Family Allowances Program. That comes out to... $146.94 (before taxes & 12% Corp Disc). Plus unlimited MyFaves, unlimited Hotspot@Home calls, unlimited 9PM N/Ws, unlimited M2M, and 500 CF Mins included on all lines at no extra cost.

Sprint converted my 5 year old F&C into the current Power Pack plan during the Ensemble conversion. I don't know why they did it but they did.

Don't think phone prices will change (*maybe go up?) if you sign up now you have 30 days to change your plan anyway, so theres no point waiting?

*What if they decided offer cheaper plans but less rebates on phones?

Do you think these new plans will be better than the Fair and Flexible plans? If they're going to discontinue the Power Pack plans, they must have something big in the works to make up for the loss of the cheap family plans.

I'm wondering if Sprint is thinking of something like $99.99 for the first phone, $75.00 for the 2nd phone, and $50 each for the next three. A five line family plan would cost $325 and it would still have an ARPU of $65 per line for a five line plan. A two line plan would have an ARPU of $87.50. Make it unlimited like the current Simply Everything plan and that will be the knockout blow.

Henry

The fair and flexible plan are not offered by sprint anymore..all the powerpacks are available. However, they add the f&f plan depending upon your loyalty

I think the OP said free&clear, fair&flexible will not be adverstized and be grandfathered. Meaning they will still exist and no need to change if u dont want to.. right?

Thats what it says now. The first version did not list free and clear plans.
