When your phone says that it needs a plug-in, that means that the phone is trying to decode a file in which the phone does not support, so it is asking for a program (aka plug in.) The phone supports only a few different types of files, and if it tells you that you need a plug-in, it means that the phone doesn't support the file you are trying to download.
Most likely, you are trying to download an animated GIF file onto your phone, and it doesnt support it. Most Sprint vision phones support .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .wbmp, .mid, .midi, .qcp, and .pmd files. The Hitachi P300 is currently the only phone which supports .gif files. |
