Sanyo PRO-700 Hands On Review / Pictures

So I had my rep @ premier services order me the new Sanyo PRO-700 (SKU: PRO700KIT) which was not available in my market but she was able to order it anyway.

(FYI don't ask me how to activate one of these guys.)

Bluetooth included, works great with my Jawbone. QCHAT is enabled, and it's indistinguishable from my ic602 and ic902 that I have working right alongside my PRO700. GPS is included in the form of Sprint Navigation. The PRO700 includes NMEA Output which can be set through USB or Bluetooth. The phone feels very solid, a Sanyo usual. I like the outer display, high contract and clearly readable, even outdoors.

The PRO700 doesn't have a memory card slot, but it does include 32MB of built-in storage, so even with all my custom ringers I don't think I'll run out of space.

I don't know if any other Sanyo's come with a Micro-USB connector yet, but this one does.

Included accessories: Clip on holster and a Micro-USB Charger. Thats it.

Something I think is an AWESOME addition, PRL updates are now available VIA MENU OPTION! RIGHT NEXT TO UPDATE FIRMWARE. No more calling *2 or manually updating your PRL files!!

Web browswer is the standard ACCESS NetFront, version 3.4.

No Camera...but that doesnt really matter, since this is my Direct Connect only phone.

Long ago (like 2-3 minutes ago) I loved my 7050, but now...
So whats the price on that bad boy? I WILL have one!

ETA I found the price in the "pro" thread. $269.99. SOLD!

I'm hoping it is like the wireless backup that most of the newer Sprint phones have. If it is I also hope that its compatible with the wireless back up. I would hate to have to re enter 300 contacts.

I know on the spec sheet it claimed to have 5 hrs of talk time. That would be awesome.
