Earthlink Cable with the "last mile" via Comcast. (6-8 Mb/s)
Comcast all-digital cable, all the extra channels, no "premium" channels.
Combined cost for the two is just over $100.

Earthlink is competent, Comcast customer support is sometimes incompetent, but better than Sprint's. Fairly easy to get bumped up to someone who knows how things work, and can help.

Only phone service is via SprintPCS.

FiOS 15/2 plus FiOSTV and unlimited local phone with unlimited (US) long distance, $99...

FiOS is amazing...the internet is rock solid and never slows down on Verizon's end, and the HDTV quality is simply the best, as it is un-recompressed and just beautiful. The DVR service has been touch and go, but it has recently been much better.

I don't think one can touch FiOS for the quality, and at the price I'm paying, it is the steal of the decade.

All my friends that live in areas not served by Verizon FiOS hate Time Warner and wish they could order FiOS, and when they see my HD, they are blown away...

I have Time Warner Cable for tv/ internet. 8mb service. Typically, I'm pretty happy with it. There customer service has been fantastic (usually wind up talking tech with them after problem is fixed). I have not had a phone service for a few years other than Sprint, since I think landline phones are pretty much a waste now that mobile phones are so common. I pay about $130/ month with tv/internet, but I've got the Premium HD package (though I personally never watch it and would get rid of tv altogether if I had my way). If I had to complain about anything, it would be the price. Looking at what some people pay, my bill seems high. Guess it's time to see what's up with TW!

I have Comcast, all the channels offered, access to all pay per views. Also comcast for 8 mb service, and home phone. Since the wife works there, we get all the channels for free, all on demand movies are $1 (use to be free till the rate increase), and all pay per views (Wrestling, MMA, Boxing) 1/2 of advertised price, and internet for free. We add $10 to the internet to get 8mb speed over 6 mb speed, and home phone is $15. I'm so glad the wife works there, all that for $25 a month, before any movies and taxes. Oh yeah, also includes HD, which I love!

We recently switched from TWC for TV to DirecTV. We liked it a lot better, especially since we have 3 times the HD channels now.

For Internet we just recently downgraded our RoadRunner to RR Lite.

I've been using wow cable/internet/phone for a few weeks and so far seems to be working good. When I canceled time warner they didn't seem to care at all. Oh well.

Not sure if this is good or not but seems to be quick.

Not sure how it is, but I do know it is "blowing up" in some markets (like Houston).
