Hey everyone! Lets start a Tips & Tricks thread exclusively for our beloved Centro to help us do more!

First Tip: 1 Key shorcuts to open programs or dial contacts: on the main phone app, bring up the menu bar and select edit favorites button, there you can choose the program you'd like and also there you should a field called Quick Keys.. enter the key you want to assign and you are set! Go back to your main app application and press the assigned key for a few seconds and the program you picked should launch!

Second Tip: To save battery you can turn on the Qwerty's back light, just Press Shift + Menu key's together and the backlight will turn off!

Shoutcast.com works with Centro! Give it a try everyone. you'll love it!

One thing i'd like the Centro player to do is to turn the screen off after a few seconds when streaming radio so it wont drain the battery so much.

thestreamcenter.com also works for local radio stations in your area.

I also stream from xmradio using mobile.musicdock.com but you must be a member for this one.

If anyone is interested in reading the bible on their Centro, the you can download free bible software from http://www.olivetree.com

There are several free options on the site. Take a look. As one who reads The Good Book often, I found this site to come in handy.

This might sound like overkill, but could there be a way to stream divx videos from video websites like stage6.com? that would rock. i love watching their documentaries.

Is there a way to stream DivX videos at all?

That is what I loved about the treo and my 6700 that I had before. I love being able to search scripture fast and have it handy. Thanks!

Oh, did you download the free collection for your centro? If not which is the best?

We all know that OPT + P brings up a scroll bar to adjust the brightness of the screen.

OPT + Right Shift is a shortcut to a half-way dark screen.

Well if you do OPT + P and take it the 2nd left-most position and THEN do OPT + Right Shift you will get a screen that is even darker yet!

I've found this to be quite excellent for pitch-black conditions when your eyes have already adjusted to the darkness. Previously, I was just doing the 2nd left-most position which wasn't quite dark enough.
