recommend a voip provider

I am looking for a VOIP provider that offers both, softphone and the ability to connect something at home to have a home phone.

I thought about skype but the caller id doesnt go through with outbound calls.

Looking for something cheaper than Vonage, but I am really looking for something that i can make conference calls.
