slow web speed on my Q

For the last 3 days My Q's web speed is really slow. I've done everything, master reset, cleared cookies, changed to internet in the connections. When the page finally loads after a few minutes then the speed comes back but when I go to a different site it takes minutes to load the page which I've never had this issue in 9 months. Got it tested and the tech said it was fine even after I showed how slow it was compared to there demo Q.

Any input is appreciated.

have you tried to update your vision profile. I had this problem with my Q and updating the profile did it for me.

Yes I've tried everything I can think of. I even reset the data profile. I haven't re-installed sling box because at this point I doubt it will run. I'm about ready to put a 12 foot stomp on it.

Sounds like you have done everything you could/should on the Q itself. It could be a Sprint issue unfortunately. They could be doing something in your area.

BTW - did you do a PRL update after the master reset? And try updating the profile a few days in a row. For some reason, trying it the first time never seems to work for me. Good luck and report back.

Does the EV symbol always stay on top of the display? It's almost like it's stuck in evdo but not evdo speed. It takes 3-5 mins just laod the page and most that time it says connecting but white scrren. Once the site comes up the speed comes back when surfing that site but takes awhile to load another site. I guess I will wait a few more days.

Yes, wait - it sounds like it is just taking longer to find a connection to the network, not something wrong with the Q.

Same Problem

I'm in the same boat you are. Moto Q as well.

I did a hard reset, pulled the battery, reset my Vision profile, etc. Even took it to a Sprint repair center today. It passed all the diagnostics, but we couldn't get a web page to load in under 3-4 minutes.

They couldn't figure it out. They went so far as to order a replacement Q for me. Coincidentally, I received an email from Sprint today about speed "improvements" they've recently made in my area. Wondering if the two events might be related. Oddly, my son's Fusic (Sprint as well) is not impacted.

When I kill all in the task manager iexplore.exe shows up after I do it which I don't remember it ever doing that prior to me having slow connections. I have a trouble ticket and a field tech is supposed to be checking the evdo speeds but knowing my luck he probably won't exspierence my issues.

Mine is doing that same thing. It's stating to really piss me off. At first I was like "not another problem with my Q!". I have no idea what to do about this. Its like I basically can't use my internet and haven't been able to in the last couple of days. ***.

I have a love hate relationship with Sprint, i swear.

Same here. Very slow to load a page and I have done everything everyone else has done with no change. I also received the email from sprint telling me "My Signal Is Stronger All Over Indianapolis" I say BS, I have noticed no change in signal, which I average 2 bars consistantly where ever I go, and now EVDO is SLOWER than EDGE.

I just hope Sprint knows about the issue. Are there any Sprint techs on this site? If so can you report this issue and if Sprint knows about check to see if they have a estimated time to be fixed.
