TEP the best $6.00 (now $7) a month! Share your TEP damage & repair stories.

On Friday the clear plastic covering my Treo 700WX was severly cracked, to the point that the touch screen was hard to use.

Took my phone in on Saturday morning. 1.5 hours later, when I went to pick up me 2.5 month old phone, Sprint handed me a brand new Treo!

I'm elated! They told me the old phone was not repariable & w/TEP & the phone being so new, they were just going to replace it!

Best $6.00 a month I have ever spent!

2 years ago my a680 broke and they gave me a new 7400 as a replacement. pretty good upgrade if you ask me (bigger screen, faceplates, speakerphone, multimedia ability, readylink, more memory, flashlight, faster browser) all of which the 680 did not have

I'm getting a 700p for my broken 650. I'm pretty happy about that, but we don't have evdo in Columbia, MO (65203) yet, but oh well. I wonder when we will actually get it, it keeps getting pushed back.

Cheers,

Scott

We have it here in KC, and Orlando.

The TEP has been nothing but helpful, and very nice.
i agree, the best 6 bucks a month ever. the 50 bucks for a new phone is nothing.

my boss got real lucky....He lost his phone 6700 during a trip out of state. So he called for a replacement and paid the $50. They overnight a new phone to him. End of story...2 weeks later, he got a call from someone telling him that he found his old 6700. He sent the phone back to my boss. My boss called about it and they told him to keep the old one and use it for someone else...so he got 2 6700 now!

the best $6.00, soon to be the best $7.00 per month. I wish they would have a TEP family plan, when you have several phones on your plan it can add up to quite a bit. Like maybe make it a maximum of $20 or $25 per month depending on the amount of phones on your plan. Listening Sprint?

Yeah, I got a flier in the mail today officially informing me that the rate was increasing from 6 to 7. I wasn't very happy about it but I'll still pay it on my 700wx.

I wondering what people are getting as replacements for the IP830w? I just got one of these last Thursday and almost damaged the connector on the device for charging/syncing.

Kyocera 6035 screen broke - replaced with a new one
Samsung i300 - replaced with a Samsung i500
Treo 600, speaker problem - replaced with a new one
Hitachi G1000 - replaced with a new PPC-6600 (October '05, last time used TEP)
