Request

Hi,
I have a wierd request. I have LG Fusic, and want to get the Zelda Secret sound as a text message ringtone. I have found it on a few sites but most of them are way to soft to hear in decently loud places (not near as lond as stock ringtones). Can anyone increase the volume on one of those for me so that i can actually hear it. OR i have found a site that has one that seems louder when i play it on my computer but whenever i go to their WAP site on my phone to download it, it just brings up a little box with a music note and plays the ringtone with no option to save it. Anyone know how to get around that? Thanks

Ryan

Download wavepad or audacity and you can increase the volume and make it an AAC file. Use an uploader like the focus uploader here or rumkin, there are a bunch of them. You could also send it to your phone via bluetooth. Search the LG forum for some info I wrote up on that.

I tried both of those but neither of those will open it up because it is a MIDI file. Any other ideas?

You should be able to open the MIDI in Winamp, convert it to WAV, then use something else like WavePad to convert it to M4A.

Thumbs up Text Message Ringtones

Hey. We all ask for ringtones for when our cellphones ring why don't we make text message ringtones. Could some one help us out with that?

You can use whatever you want as a text message ringtone. You don't need special ringtones for that. And you can request a text message ringtone just like any other ringtone--we've never stopped anyone from doing that...

However, pleeeeaaaase keep ALL ringtone requests in the appropriate threads:

http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=112439
http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=112437

And then remember that we pretty much don't have anyone who makes ringtones anymore, and I can only do so much so I've quit ringtone requests (i.e., stop PMing me requests, people). So given that information, you may want to start here:
