Samsung A940 Media Player Help

Hi everyone.Ive tried lookin through here to find my answere, but I couldnt. So please be gentle if I ask a overused question.I have the Samsung A940. Can anyone tell me how to load mp3's onto the transflash card and get them to play with the built in media player? I can transfer songs onto the card and use the Sprint online player, but that uses my minutes.I just wanna use it a a regular mp3 player? Any simple suggestions? Thanks.

Place them in the Media folder of your microSD card. Then open Media Player on your phone and play from there.

You have to take the memory card out of your phone and use your SD adapter and put it in a memory card reader connected to your computer. now transfer your mp3s to the media folder on your card. put it back in your phone and go to the media player and open from memory card. you can manage your songs with the mp3 player controls on the outside of your phone. Good luck

Actually you don't have to remove the card on the 940. If you download the drivers from Samsung, you will be able to hook up your phone with the data cable and drag 'n drop. Or if you have a Bluetooth adapter, you can do it that way, too.

i have the same giant question about uploading videos and mp3 into my A940. i've tried the drag and drop options but seems like the samsung drivers only make the computer recognize the phone as a modem and not as a portable device to upload or add media into it. any other helps?

Hello,
I couldnt get the drivers from Samsung to work on my tablet either, so I used the adapter and a card reader and downloaded a <Mod Edit> of songs off Limewire.com straight on to my new 512mb micro sd. Good luck.
