Treo 650 --> Treo 700p - Can I cancel my main line and switch 2nd line to main?
My current plan is $115 for 2500 shared minutes with free Vision and free unlimited text on the main line. The main line is out of contract. The secondary line is under contract until 06/07.
I have a Treo 650 and want to buy the Treo 700p. What's my best option for getting a good deal ($399) on the upgrade while not losing my free Vision/unlimited text? Is it possible to cancel my main line, change my 2nd line to become the main line, and then add a 2nd line when I buy the 700p? |

The best thing for you to do is not to cancell anything and first see what sprint can do for you! Just give them a call, let them know what your thinking. You may be elegible for rebates and if your not I bet they can still work out something to your liking.
However that New Treo required a POWER vision plan, so you wont keep your same vision plan for free. |

That's actually one of the reasons I'm considering buying it on a new line and then doing an ESN swap--on the off chance that I can keep the grandfathered Vision instead of being forced to get a Power Vision plan.
If that doesn't work, I think my next option is to try to get a loyalty discount from them to cover the cost of the Power Vision plan. |

If you are "out of contract" there usually is a bonus(discount) thrown in to sign a new contract. Power Vision will be required to receive the rebates on the new 700p.
