Helpless Captive

I Have been with Sprint for a few contracts This was the first one where you lease the phone instead of pay to own over 2 yrs. just another change to benefit large companys (sprint) I have 6 months left on a 2 yr plan. My note 5 stopped charging. started a few months ago and now 20 percent overnight. so 2 visits to the sprint service center and 2 phone calls to there asurion insurance company because of course they don't replace in store anymore. they tell me they would gladly replace at a 200 dollar charge ????? I tell them I don't own the phone and pay 11 dollars a month for insurance and they don't care. so now I have 6 or more months left to pay for a phone that doesn't work. If I lease a car for 2 yrs and the engine dies the dealership will fix it. I am just wondering if anybody knows if this is legal. and I'm trying to let the public know what sprint is doing to the consumer. I feel so helpless and captive for the next 6 months.

not only that,,I was trying to upgrade my phone a few months early and was sent by an online chat to go to the store and pay there so i would become immediatly eligible,,,ok went to store,,sat in line for an hour to be told that it would be faster to do it at home online. The store logged onto my account while there and checked ,,then I left and went home,,next day wanted to log into my account and guess what,,my online info was changed, It wouldnt take my password,,so I clicked on forgot password,,it takes you to a page where you enter in your username,,,zip code,, and last 4 of my social,,,guess what said the info i provided didnt match their records,,,i have spent hours on the phone trying to get this fixed. still nothing,,actually had a tech call me and tell me that if i need to change my security settings to log in online to change them,,,,DUH,,it wont let me log in,,,what a dip

When dealing with Sprint, you gotta pack a lunch.
