A closer look at the Nexus 5

We saw what is most likely the next Nexus from LG pop up courtesy of some FCC docs last night. After further scrutiny, additional details have been uncovered.

The phone will feature a 4.96-inch screen (hence Nexus 5 is the logical name). We have to think at that size this will be a 1080p screen, but there is nothing to confirm that at the moment.

The phone is 131.9mm tall (~5.2 inches) and 68.2mm wide (~2.7 inches). Nothing to indicate how thick of a device it will be, but thatís a compact frame for a device with a 5-inch screen. Itís slightly shorter than an HTC One and about the same width.

Like so many other devices this fall, the Nexus 5 will be using Qualcommís Snapdragon 800 CPU.

The 2300 mAh battery may not stand up to that of the LG G2 or the Note 3, but presumably itíll get you through the day.

I like the looks.. It looks like the Galaxy Nexus. I really hope that it's concave in shape like the Galaxy Nexus!
The battery is small but it ships with 4.3 it should do well .
