It will be called the "Tour" or 9630. It's a combination of the best features of the Bold and the 8900.

Sadly; VZ probably gets it first in mid-July and us a month later.

I'm hoping that with all the talk about the Storm 2, that we might start hearing somethong about a Sprint varient...

If we could have the tour (looks like Q3 right now), and a touch screen berry. That would give customers better choices and bring berry sales up to where they should be

If i skip the Pre, or even if i get it, i am dying to know about a release date of the newer curve for Sprint, 9630, i know there is speculation of a release shortly after August, but does anyone know if that is likely or unlikely? If i do get the pre, i figure i can easily sell it on ebay in order to get the new curve. I know there will also be a 9060ish BB coming out, but i'm not willing to go that big. Any insight into the 8930 appreciated, thanks. : )

Is sprint ever planning on adding WiFi to any of their Berries?

T-mobile will have three Blackberry models by the time we get the Tour; 8900,Onyx and Gemini. I am reluctant to get the Pre but it is looking more tasty with all the new leaks. Come on Sprint people are getting frustrated!
T-Mobile as well as AT&T are typically going to get products first since they are GSM carriers.

Why when there is EVDO, and even Rev. A? WiFi would be a waste

Looks like the "Aries" is going to be a CDMA version of the 8520. Probably going to see this on VZW at first then Sprint within a few months.

The only time WIFI would be useful to me is in flight. I have been on a few flights that have free WIFI and allow you to use your phones for internet etc. It was the first time I was upset that I did not have it.

So outside of that I do not feel I would ever use WIFI...

Thumbs down

I have never had the option to use wifi with my current and previous handsets from Sprint. I wish they would hurry up and bless us with a new blackberry. Hopefully, the July date for the Tour/Niagara is real. Im getting desperate here Sprint!!

Right now, our next berry will be the Tour in January... Unless Sprint is holding out on me (which I doubt). But, I'm still holding out hope that we might get a BOLD or STORM varient before that, but there is still no chatter on that front. I'm still kicking around the idea of just buying a Storm and flashing [to Sprint] it myself, but I might loose all my Sprint apps. Sprint says that they will activate an unlocked berry for me, but they cannot promise that my Sprint apps will work and my TEP will be useless if I do!
