I have yet to try to add a application to my 6700. I'm trying to get this PHM Registry Editor v0.70 but I'm not sure what to do with all these files that are in my winzip (pict below). I know once I get the editor then I can download the picture mail hack but just wondering how much space I need for both?

I'm not sure if anyone has helped you with this yet...but you need to move the phmregistry.cab file to your ppc 6700 and install it from there...once you've install that then you can install the picturemail hack...that is also installed the same way. Hope that helps.

2. After u download the file, unzip it on ur ppc and install the cab file, then soft reset.

3. Use ur regedit program and navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\UI
Click to open EnableServerEdit and changed the key from 0 to 1. Soft reset.

4. Go to your mail box. It should show you that you are currently in the mms folder. Select menu, then select MMS Configuration. Select the Severs tab and make a new server connection by entering the following:

Server name: Sprint
Gateway: leave blank
Port number: 80
Server address: http://mms.sprintpcs.com/servlets/mms
Connect via: Select sprint
Sending size limitation: 350kb
WAP: Select WAP 2.0

Select ok and then set sprint as your default and then delete the Verizon one.
There you have it! Go to your pics or movies and select one. Select menu, select send, then select MMS. You can now send your mail. Also in the camera mode there is now a setting for video mms.

If u have any more problems feel free to PM me or any ?`s just drop a line. This is info I found in my research I'm not taking credit for coming up with it, just letting you know it WORKS, I just got through doing it the other day. Note makes outlook appear to not pop up as quick when u try to open from today screen or start menu, but a well worth it hack.
Once again I made this a lot harder then what it really is. These directions above made it really easy.

Cab File Trouble

I have installed other cab files -- the ROM update and the MSN TV one. I decided to take this on and I have the regedit and picture hack cabs. They are on my desktop and appear as zip files. When I used Explore on the PPC and move them over and click on them nothing happens except a window pops up and tells me what the files are. I know they're supposed to be executable zip files, but they're not working. What am I doing wrong, please? I tried a soft reset but it didn't seem to matter.

thanks in advance. I feel sure it's something really stupid, but I can't figure it out

It works! However, I have two MMS account choices. Is the first one for video? I assume so. If I select the second one, New Pix Message (MMS) it goes through fine.

thanks for a great feature upgrade

However, as a disclaimer, in no way will I take credit for finding this gem that I know we have all been waiting for. So without further ado, download and install the attached file on your PPC-6700. I installed mine on the miniSD, but you can install it where you prefer. Then follow the instructions below and enjoy...

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\UI
change the key, EnableServerEdit, from 0 to 1
settings used on server config:
Server Name: sprintpcs
gateway: left blank
port number: 80
server address: http://mms.sprintpcs.com/servlets/mms
Connect via: The Internet
Sending size limitation: 350k
wap: wap 2.0

(Signed_MMS3.0.6.22_Apache_VZW_26Sep05.zip)

Edit: SprintUsers.com will not allow me to upload the file because it exceeds the maximum 2 MB limit imposed. This file is 2.03 MB. Someone PM me and let me know where I can e-mail the file so that you can host it via a link in this thread.
I can't get it to work. Could it have anything to do with the fact that I updated my ROM to 2.06.00

No, the first thing I did when I got my 6700 was update the ROM. Maybe if you can lists the specific problem somebody will be able to help you figure it out? I followed the steps and installed the program on my storage card and all seems well.

good luck!

I have installed it on my device and on Memory card. No luck. I have changed the connect via from Internet to Sprint and vice versa and no luck. I try to send a pic and nothing happens. I go check at messaging and it has been put in the Draft folder. I then click on it and click send/receive and it just says finished and then MMS 2 Items, 1 Unread. And then nothing.

All I can suggest is you input all the fields from your Sprint MMS configuration here and maybe somebody will see it. Can you send text messages okay?
