I work for Sprint so I got an employee discount. $225.09 with overnight shipping. About $175 - $185 for regular customers I think. Don't quote me though I don't work retail.

The Lapdock 100 costs $187.50 with the Premier (25%) discount if you buy a 2nd accessory at the same time. I bought the spare battery with charging tray and the total was ~$240 including tax. The Lapdock is really cool. I like it so much that I'll be getting the Lapdock 500 if it comes out before the end of the year when the Premier accessory discount goes away.

i love it. i was out and about yesterday and was getting busy on the web over 3g in the barbershop. i was surfing away, listening to soundcloud, chatting on gtalk, and never once had to turn on my other device. ( i own an epic touch too)

It's too bad that Samsung Media Hub isn't on the Market or I would be in heaven, but Netflix works fine.

Is there enough room in the rubber insert phone dock portion to accomodate a Photon with a case or do I need to take the case out to insert it in securely? How is the quality of netflix when you watch it on the larger screen? Any lag when you have several browser tabs open?

I was wondering the same thing because I have the defender otterbox rubber exoskeleton case.

I don't have a case for the Photon so I cannot answer this 100% I will however have a friend on Monday with a Otterbox case on his. I will happily test out the cradle with a case on it.
Netflix looks great on the widescreen aspect via mobile view. (tested lock stock and two smoking barrels and Discovery HD shows). I have had 10 tabs open before the system alerted me of any memory issues. Twitter, soundcloud, lifehacker, gawker, and gizmodo all ran fine with no hiccups. Keep in my this is all over 3g and while it wasn't 4g speed it still rendered everything great. If you need something for road trips or just a great accessory for the road when you don't want to lug around a 15 inch Acer laptop this would compliment your journey. It's light and easy to hop in / out. My personal favorite part is making phone calls on it while multi-tasking.

The MoPho is a pretty tight fit in the slot of the Lapdock 100. I don't think it'll fit in there while in a case. I have an Otterbox Defender and Commuter both. I prefer the Defender, but switched back to the commuter for easier removal for putting the phone into the Lapdock. I'm going to order the Incipio case from Amazon and see how that works out.

10 tabs? Wow, that's pretty impressive.

technically you cannot use the lapdock for the video chat function bc of the design of the lapdock against the device bay. let's say for instance if the lapdock hdmi cord was just a hair longer you might be able to kickstand the device and face the front camera at yourself. trust me i have tried a few different ways and i cannot get the forward camera to work with the lapdock correctly. sorry if this is a deal breaker for you.
