That was my first cell phone also. Back in the day when the first incoming minute was free. I would tell the person, hey call me back and hang up. |

im not surprised to see the startac in this thread. i would say that was the best phone for actual phonecalls EVER. my boy still rocks his moto timeport with the matching 2way pager. i think i still got a samsung uproar sittin around. that was the first top notch music phone sprint put out there. piece of crap from the door. never got much use of that $400 price tag.

I got both of my Sanyo 4500's to light up! Those things are like walkie-talkies!

Thanks man!
![]() So I googled StarTac in google images and found a few new and improved StarTacs. This one I read about being released in 2004. http://www.mobiledia.com/news/24911.html I read the specs at the bottom and just about died at how crappy those specs are. I realize it was 4 years ago, but it's just funny to think how technology has changed so fast. "Planned to run on the Verizon's new 3G cdma2000 1xEV-DO high-speed network, the StarTAC 2004 will be able to stream and store multimedia at broadband speeds stored on its 4 MB of internal memory. ![]() Kept thumbing around and came across the StarTac personal organizer! ![]() I remember paying $200 for one of those, and hated it!
