Touch Time is Behind

Every now and then my Touch's time is like 30 minutes or so behind the real time. When I get text messages the real time shows on the text...but the clock that is displayed on the home screen is wrong. I searched the forum and one other person had this problem, but no one answered his post. Sometimes its way behind, like this morning it read 4:45 am but the real time was 5:58am....anybody know what's up?

There are a couple of things you can do to fix this.

1. Go to Start -> Settings -> Phone -> Services, then select Time Synchronization and tap Get Settings. Tap Update Now and it will update the time.
2. Hit the power button off then on again.... I just noticed that recently it would update the time when I did that.

yes, my Touch comes back from standby mode with the time it was when it (i assume) went into standby. i've gotten used to it, and it has actually made me realize how often (or not often) i check my Touch.
