What is "Sprint Casual Data?"

I just got an e-mail from sprint with my new plan details and under

"Your Service Plan Includes" it lists:
SERO Premium 500
SERO Premium
$40.00 Minimum Monthly Charge
500 Anytime Minutes
Nationwide Long Distance Included
America - Roaming Included
Unlimited Any Mobile, Anytime
Unlimited SMS Text Messaging
Unlimited Picture Mail
Unlimited Data Usage
Sprint Navigation
Caller ID
Call Waiting
Three-Way Calling
Voicemail

Under "additional Services" it lists:

3 Numbers, Any Network-Unltd
NIGHTS STARTING AT 6PM
Cellular Call Detail
International Calls Enabled
Unlimited Nights&Weekends-7pm
Sprint Casual Data
Unlimited Messaging
Sprint Navigation
Picture Mail
TEP ($3 Ins. premium + ESRP)
Data Usage

What exactly is Sprint Casual Data?? In included services it says "Unlimited Data Usage" so I'm a little confused.

I too would like to know what that means... They advertise their 4G service as "truely unlimited", unlike our current sero data "unlimited" plans. I wonder if sero premium will have the truely unlimited data.

Your charges for data would be under that if you didn't have a data plan and used some. Shouldn't be anything to worry about(casual data). It's listed because you can use data without having it added to your plan. Kind of pointless but yea it's there.

it allows Sprint to 'casually' send you an incredibly big bill for an infintesimally small amount of data usage...

its a placeholder to indicate that data billing is turned on and you will be charged per KB *unless* you have an unlimited data option also on the account.
