It would be nice if this round of phones offered visual voicemail. Verizon has offered visual voicemail for their recent Blackberries but Sprint hasn't offered it.

Visual VM was one of my favorite features on my Evo. 'Bout time we BlackBerry users got this.

The 9930 will be in stores and for sale on Sunday, 8/21. They have the stock in stores today or tomorrow but can't sell them until Sunday.

I'm glad to hear the Curve and Style have it but I have the Bold and it does not have visual voicemail. I messaged with an individual who posted a review of the Sprint Torch 9850 and had it in hand and asked him if it had visual voicemail and he said he did not see it. It would be nice if it does but it's certainly not a deal breaker.

With respect to pricing, $250 on contract is certainly steep. I'm surprised RIM would let it be priced so high, but then I saw the price on T-Mobile: $300!!! And that's AFTER a $50 mail-in rebate!

Eerie feeling... Tell me if I'm panicking. If you goto Blackberry website and choose to "purchase now" the new Bold Touch, it only lists Verizon as the carrier. The full touch Torch does not have option to purchase now yet and the new version of the old Torch still just has AT&T and other vendors to purchase from.

Will Sprint be left out again????

Well I have not seen any "official" announcements. Only think I've seen are BB announcements on Aug 21. BB to release yadda yadda phones. And many other sources saying this phone and that phone will goto this and that carrier. But none of them are official.
I maybe wrong but ... it's that ol' sinking feeling...
It's like the Galaxy S2 announcement on Aug. 29. That doesn't mean the phone will be available on Sprint.

If only Sprint had announced something about these phones... then it would be real.

Sheesh!

Upcoming BlackBerries for Sprint

Been there done that with the original iPhone, had it for work a total of 48 hourswork provided cell with AT&T service. Told them to get me a blackberry or pay me for my current Sprint plan. Seem every year about this time the rumors start about Sprint getting the lastest and greatest iPhone, Ill believe it when I see it on the shelves in the Sprint store.
