Yup SERO is dead. Phone died after update! Ugh!
Called and they said I would have to switch plans. Even the manager said that there is nothing she could do.
Oh well...bye bye Sprint. Hello good cell coverage!
It's been a good journey. I will be paying less but have limited GB's of data

You currently have the $50 SERO right?

Well Verizon's offer is tempting at $80/month. Too bad it doesn't qualify for employee discounts.

Yes $50

I was able to activate a S7 edge. I am still under contract until April. I think I will jump ship then.

So you were forced to go to $60 SERO unlimited or no?

No. I was able to activate the S7 under my current $50 plan.

Seriously I'm so tired of dealing with this on all of our accounts. I shouldn't have to beg and grovel every time I need to do something like swap a phone. My last phone swap, the agent actually told me she was going to send me instructions of how to use Sprint.com to do the phone swap myself (because I'm too incompetent to do it clearly). Even after explaining to her that you cannot swap phones online with SERO, she still sent the passive-aggressive instructions. I'm still on SERO $50, but I'm so tired of the incompetence from CS and red tape from corporate with the plan.

Sprint will lose a lot of SERO customers with the new T-Mobile plan that launches Friday. I'm planning on leaving just because of the unpleasantness every time I need to do simple things with my Sprint account. (That, and with Sprint removing 2 year contracts, T-Mobile is actually cheaper than SERO now).

y'all, please keep this under your hat and don't go posting it on other forums/sites, etc etc. And if you happen to tell a friend/relative that's on SERO about it, ask that they don't share it either, that way Sprint doesn't try and revert recent sales or nullify them somehow. Seems to good to be true. Thanks disguy.

Well T-Mobile 2 lines is now the same price as SERO 2 lines, with free Galaxy S7s starting on Monday. 20% employee code makes it $80/line taxes included. It's been a nice run. Goodbye, Sprint.

What's weird is that the Sprint Zone App was still showing 2 yr contracts like a week ago. I just checked right now and it's no longer there. When I'm on my upgrade screen it shows 2 yr contract eligible. But when you go to devices, none of them have the contract option. Apple.com still shows Sprint 2yr contracts as an option. I'm sure that will likely end soon.

I called Sprint a week ago and again today and I got the same info both times, the first telesales person transferred me to "elite" telesales for customers who've been with them a long time. I was told I can keep my sero plan ($30+10$+$10) intact when upgrading phones, I would just have to ether pay new phone in 24 pymts or in full, and that I can break my sero 24mo agreement w/o penalty since I'm upgrading phones. Why keep sero you ask? well it has truly unlimited 4G data w/o caps unlike other "unlimited" plans from the other big 4, all other non big 4 carriers data plans are not even strong enough to hold a gps routing trip. Has anybody completed a successful phone upgrade and activation, kept sero, and was just billed monthly for the phone on top of seros $50?

You don't need to repeat your post in multiple threads. That's really annoying.

Well there are diff users following each thread. If a user in thread A has done the upgrade w/success and I only post my inquiry in thread B, then the user in thread A won't know that there is somebody in thread B wondering if it's possible and my not post his/her experience thinking that thread A is dead. I'm new to forums so I could be missing something though. If I am, feel free to show me and others on the same boat the way so that we're don't "annoy" anybody.
