TV apps

Morning everyone,

I love watching tv on my phone. I noticed that on androids tv apps are not available , oxygen and bravo. instead you have to pay per episode. I am able to view and install these apps on iPhone. Does apple have the rights to certain tv apps or is it that it has not been developed for android. I want the s5 but I don't know if I can compromise my tv watching. what apps do you use to keep up with tv thats free?!

Thanks

If you want to see if they're on android, check the web store, which won't filter it out by device (you still can't DL it though on your phone).

There are TV apps out there that are free I have some on my phone like The CW, CBS, TV.com, etc.

Just search them out,

I know ABC TV app requires a subscription of sorts.

Check out DroidTV Primetime from the Amazon app store. The subscription rate is $8.99 every 3 months and the selection of shows is huge. The TV shows are downloaded to your phone, so you can watch them whenever you want. Go with the free trial to see what you think. I've been using it for a long time and really like it.

Very true and I have Netflix, too. But DroidTV does have a far more extensive and current TV lineup:
"Includes almost every current show from ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, and NBC, plus several of the most popular shows from HBO and Showtime; almost 250 shows in all"
