speaker problems

has anyone else had the external speaker blowing up like mine. this is the second phone now thats done it. i keep thinking im getting metal shavings in it but the screen is super small. i wish i could say it was because i was jaming some music but the volume was turned down about 3 clicks from 100%, it always happends when i have the phone setup the way i like it.
