Probably still PagePlus. They give you a huge coverage map at a tiny cost.

Or, if you're a very light voice user, but a heavy text and data user, the $30 Walmart T-Mobile plan is nice.

Check out STI Mobile.

They use the Sprint network. My Dad is a very very light user. He mainly has it for security. It's 8.9 cents a minute and they charge you 8.9cents a day. As long as you make one outgoing call every 60 days you don't have to buy any minutes as the minutes don't expire. You also get voicemail.

So if you figure 9 cents a day for 30 days that's $2.70 a month.

I buy the minutes for him from here: as they are cheaper and you can find discount codes on or look on a coupon site. Code ephone88 was working for 10%.
