What does Sprint/mobile service cost you per line?
Simple formula. After all the taxes, fees, discounts, insurance, additional services and whatever else, what is the average cost you pay per line?
(Total cost divided by lines on account) For two lines: With Sprint I was paying $75 per line after all discounts and such. With AT&T I now pay $85 per line. So for me Sprint was for sure cheaper than AT&T.

$41 after tax per line. This includes 1200 atm's, unlimited data, texting and picture mail, roaming, 7pm N&W, and finally insurance. I know there are others with older/cheaper plans, but I'm not complaining.

After all taxes and surcharges I was paying $170 a month for my two lines. My cousin has one line and pays about $97 a month. But he has that $5 spending limit thing.
With ATT I am paying $148 a month after everything. So in my two year contract ATT will save me $480 bucks. Not to shabby |

I pay $218.00 total for 4 lines on the family plan, including taxes and surcharges. That comes out to $54.50 a line per month for unlimited everything. That does include a 19% discount. I did forget the free airave also.

My 5 smartphone line plan unlimited data 1500 minutes costs, after by corporate discount, $218/month. 7 months ago for the same service on non 'smartphone' and with the old per line discounts, the same corporate discount, my cost was $167/month. So for essentially the same service, a 30.5% increase. There's a $50 smartphone surcharge now, for 4G service which does not exist (3G really doesn't exist either unless you consider ANY data throughput '3G'). Also I lost some extra line discounts (they were zeroed out). Of course Sprint's explanation was that it was all a net zero change to me since the base plan also went down in price. But for several years Sprint's been jacking some extra cash out of me by applying the corporate discount ONLY to the base plan. So with a few dollars less there's less of a corporate discount. The net result is that even w/o the smartphone tax the bill actually increases.

Dang. Good prices all. I'm starting to think I'm the only Sprint customer who was paying the advertised pricing

$175 for 5 lines = $35/line
* Includes all taxes, fees, and international calling package for 1 line ($4/mo). It used to be around $32/line but Sprint kept upping Administration Fees and other fees...

$234 for 5 lines w/airave (not counting that though) on my last bill so $46.80. Some of the lines have insurance too. This month will be interesting as I ported one line to Verizon as I was tired of the non-existent data connections
