Samsung's market 3X larger than iPhone in PRC
What do you people think? This article discusses Apples failure to partner with China's largest carrier who's subscriber base is larger then the U.S, Brazil & Mexico combined. China Mobile currently uses TD-SCDMA which Apple has decided not to support. Apple will reconsider when China Mobile converts to TD-LTE at the end of this year. This may portend well for Spint and Clearwire in the future.
With a population base that large what do you think is more important for cornering the Chinese market, profit or volume? http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-0...ples-tech.html |
