Help - LG Lotus with no screen

Everyone,

New to the forum. Need help with my wife's LG Lotus with a broken screen. I need to connect it to my pc, but without the screen I am having trouble guess-navigating to the usb mass storage option. Can anyone lay out the steps for me?

This is what I thought they were:
1)Open phone, Click END to make sure I am at the starting place and the cursor is on HOME.
2) Move cursor down two and right two to highlight TOOLS, click OK.
3) Move cursor down 3 to highlight USB Mode and click OK.
4) Move cursor down 1 to select MASS STORAGE and click ok.
5) Click left line button just under the screen to select YES at the 'Voice calls will be disabled message'
6) I am expecting a pop-up on my computer for the found drive.

I should note, I have the latest LG driver installed for the phone and my computer does recognize that a device is connected. Am I wrong in my steps somewhere? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Steve

Is the last step over the mass storage selection? Everything I am seen so far requires you to hit one of the line buttons at some point, but that wasnt a part of the steps above. Am I missing something?

Yes the last step is over the mass storage. When you click ok is says please, connect USB cable. Since I do not have one connected it goes back to highlighted mass storage. Also this is for the original first lotus.

I did them steps step by step without looking at the phone and it takes you to the mass storage. Hope it works for you. The only thing I think might be misleading is you press the ok button where it reads menu ok button.

do u only have to get info and files off of the sd card? If thats the case why dont u just use a sd card reader? Just curious. it would be easier if thats what your trying to do.

Already pulled the SD card out, I am rooting around for other info. I wonder if it could be different for a different model lotus. Anyway to know for sure the version or if the OS was different?
