Yeah, the keyboard seems like it won't be that great. It looks very flat and hard to use.

I'll still consider it, but I might just go back to waiting for a Droid Pro-like device.

I agree, the keyboard doesn't look that good. After using swype for about a week I'm rethinking my need for a keyboard.

That keyboard looks even worse than the Droid 1 keyboard and that one was absolute garbage. If that is the best they can do, it's sad. Way way to flat. My wife wants to get into an Android but the Epic is to much and the Transform is to slow. She has to have a usable keyboard so it looks like she'll keep rocking the BB for a while longer.

You can mod the Transform to where it's usable. But Sprint's Android variety (in quality) seems to be lacking

The Transform isn't too bad once it's rooted and has a custom ROM on it. As far as I know, only one ROM is available, but it certainly makes it faster.

If you absolutely, positively HAVE to have a physical keyboard, either a BlackBerry or (dare I say it?) a MotoQ is the way to go. I always thought I was one of those physical keyboard only folks, probably due to my trying my wife's iPhone a couple of times. But after using the Evo I realized I could do with a virtual keyboard just fine, so long as it was on a big enough screen.

No matter what kind of phone is released, people will complain that they dont like something about it. These post are very entertaining sometimes. Just be happy that Sprint is finally getting some more phones.
