Been there and done that, this is how you do it. To block someone you text 9999 and then in the message box you type block and then give a space and enter the number with area code no spaces like 6617779999 thats an example number of course. If you want to unblock its text to 9999 then in message box type unblock and then the number plus area code. I got this information from sprint and have used it both ways and it works and gives you a sms message when the person has been blocked and unblocked.

sometimes allow at least for me does not show when you are allowing the text to come back through, you can also use unblock just as you use block

I use the app "CallFilter". It blocks unlisted, private number, etc., and has the option to "add last number" to a filter list. Hope this helps.

Log into your sprint account as suggested, also log on to your picture mail account. Once there go to account settings and block her there. I also found a nice free app called call Automatic call blocker by Skydeck it works very well.
