Exclamation IPod Touch as a Sprint Phone!?!

Just saw this blog on Engadget, it's Peel for Sprint. Designed for the IPod Touch. Not sure if it only gives internet over or if it also makes the IPod Touch into a phone (with jailbreak). What do you guys think?

If there is a VOIP client for it, you could certainly make calls. Interesting but I don't see them selling many. To me it just makes more sense to get an Overdrive.

I really don't see the point in having this. Can anybody convince me that this may be a viable option for some people?

I saw this, and was mildly interested in it.

Instead of carrying around an Overdrive, which I have now, I can just fit my iPod into this, and fire it up when I need data access. It fits perfectly for those hundreds of people a day who carry around an iPod Touch, and want to Facebook, Tweet, etc.
