A Few Haggling Questions

Hey all so I have a few questions about my plan. I see on here all the time, people getting comp'd stuff and getting huge discounts so I want to see something and you tell me how likely or possible it is for me to achieve something like this...

1st off my plan consists of ... My Sister ( Primary ) Her Fiance, me and my other lil sister.

We have the unlimited everything and we pay about $160 or something in that range for all of us.

So Our contract is up next year 4 / 07 / 11. But were all probably use our upgrades in December and sign a new two year contract. So me and my sisters fiance are probably gonna get the Evo 4g's. I'm wondering if its unreasonable to try and speak with a representative and get any one or more of these...

% Off ? ( we have been with sprint for 10 years and are premier customers )
Free Insurance on everyone's new phone?
Them to waive the $10 monthly fee for the Evo?

Anything like that? Cause we don't have a single discount on our entire line. We pay the price they gave to us and it seems like this is more of a dealership rather than a retail store, so anyway please get back to me, I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks,
Kukag

I would suggest contacting account services near the end of your current commitment(s). Your best bet is a % off discount or $10 for X amount of months discount. They will most likely NOT offer you free TEP or $10.00 adjustments for all EVO's on your account.

Does the company you work for get a discount through Sprint?

I'm a student, so no I don't get company discounts, thanks for the reply I just have one more questions...

Is the $10 / month PER Evo? Or Is it just Per Plan?

Thanks,
Kukag

The $10 fee is per line, so $10 per Evo.

You might be able to get a one-time credit when you sign up. I've heard of people getting a $70 activation credit in addition to any discounts.

If you have a .edu email address, you can get the 23% student rate discount being discussed in the general discussion section.

There really is not a lot of haggling being (successfully) done right now with Sprint. Going onto an everything... plan leaves less to bargain for anyways. Free insurance simply does not exist with Sprint. You might be able to get early nights, which may or may not help you any, having AMAT. I do not think that account services has brought back the $10/24 credit; if you can get it, great. If not, you can get the $70/line renewal credit through CS or eCare.
