is Hesse on his way out the door?

http://www.bgr.com/2012/03/13/sprint...vestor-unrest/

looks like some folks aren't too jolly

Nevermind, looks like it could be based on comments made a year ago,but who knows, with the Metro merger not happening, maybe they are clamping down on him.

Wow I have to say that is a bad pic of Hesse.

I would hope the board would be watching Hesse just as any companies CEO should be watched by their board and the investors.

IMO, Hesse isn't going anywhere anytime soon (next 2-3 yrs.).

the one comment on that made a lot of sense, hesse may have done well at what he was braught in to do, stop the bleeding, but that's not nec. the correct skillset to get the game moving now that the bleeding has stopped.

well I'm not sure its fair to say that the bleeding has stopped. By far most of the bleeding has been the originally 20mil Nextel customers. There is still 6mil of them left and they will bleed out within the next year. Optimistic projections are that Sprint *might* be able to hold on to half of them through conversions to CDMA. That's still a 3mil customer further loss... so that's a pretty big bleed. Perhaps even one of the reasons behind the MetroPCS deal, to grab more customer numbers to offset a 3-5mil customer loss that *is* coming soon...

Well, BGR doesn't really have the best record for being right, but in this case, I sincerely hope they are.

Sprint's war on legacy customers , in retrospect, is just unnecessary. The war on 2nd line discounts, is also unnecessary. Had they been willing to see contracts through and be more leniant with legacy subscribers, they definately will have more customers right now. Why all the arpu whining when the only segment of growth thats allowing them to report rosy numbers is prepaid??
