HOW TO TETHER LG LOTUS WITH MAC VIA BLUETOOTH: (A.K.A: USE LOTUS AS MODEM)

Hello, If you want to connect your lotus to mac (tether) via bluetooth, do the following:

(Note that this worked for me on Mac Snow Leopard. I have not tested on previous versions)

1) As previously mentioned on the forum: ##2342#, Put in MSL, 5, 5, 2, end. (You can get your MSL through calling sprint or by using a program called CDMA Workshop)

2) Set up a bluetooth connection between your Mac and Lotus

3)Go to System Preferences/ Bluetooth

4) Click on "LG Lotus", then click on the little settings button (picture of wheel) on the bottom of that very window (right near the "-" button), and choose "Edit Serial ports"

5) Press the "+" button, and a "LGLOTUS-DialupNetworking" option will show up, and fill in the lines on the bottom as well.

6) Click the checkbox "show in network preferences" and close.

7) go to "network preferences", click on "LGLOTUS...", type #777 by "telephone number", apply changes.

8)DIAL!
