Yay! Now I hope we actually get the Spark service before the iPhone 6S!

Basically it just means potentially much faster LTE speeds of 60Mbps for the cities that offer it. Spark cities are still few and far in between but they might grow in number during the useful life of an iPhone 6 so it is good news.

Sounds great, how do I check to see if I'm in a spark area? I'm not in Chicago, but an outlying suburb. Not in Neighborville either. (My son in grade school had a friend from there) :)

You go to coverage map on sprints site and select the spark coverage it's pretty good for chi land.

I live in a south suburb of Chicago and the map shows decent coverage I hope it proves true since my current phone don't have sprint spark

iPhone 6+ blazing on Sprint, but not sure if on Spark.

It's funny the official coverage map shows good Band 41 coverage in Naperville,Il but when I turn on field test I am finding only band 25,26 I wonder if Sprint blew the spark out where I live?

I have yet to see a single post online that verifies that Band 41 was picked up by a Sprint iPhone. Once I see that confirmation- I will upgrade. Very had to believe that they didn't test it but I literally cannot find a single person online that has posted in any forum that they achieved Band 41 with an iPhone 6 or 6+. Plenty of Droids have connected but zero iPhones that I can find. If you all have a link to a successful band 41 connection source - I would really love to see it. Feeling like Sprint is not being completely forthcoming about this ability. It make work in theory - but it definitely has not been tested or confirmed in my opinion.

Sincerely appreciate the second link. The first link I had read - which is all theoretical - and I understand that in theory it SHOULD work; but had not found anything verifying that. Second link has one or two people verifying it - but not that impressive of speeds which is a bummer. I am not going to another carrier - Sprint gives me a sweetheart deal. Just wish that the freakinh iphone could get the same speeds as a droid. I know this is Apple's fault - not Sprint.

I found Spark in two spots in Tampa, here's a screen shot of one of the Speed tests http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...0bbd1d5d04.jpg

you can do a field test to see what band your phone's connecting to at the moment by pressing *3001#12345#* and selecting serving cell info
