Pinstack forum member Infinyte8 has a screen grab of the BlackBerry 8702 in the drop down menu of the “Report a problem with your service” section on Sprint’s Nextel portion of their site.

It is way too early in the morning to try to navigate the deeps of the Sprint site to verify this, however, Russell Shaw from BBHub thinks it is legit and that is good enough for me. If any RIMarkable readers are able to find a link to the “Report a Problem with your Service” page, please throw it up in the comments.

RIM has said there would be no iDEN version of the 8700.

Yeah, but that still means its an 8700-series Blackberry, regardless of what numeric designation it is given...duh

any idea when 9702 coming? I have treo 650 and it freezes and resets itself all the time. I am losing my mind.
