I was wondering about the 700. I know that it will be coming out in the palm version in a month or two. And im not sure if the windows version will be coming out.

I was wondering what the biggest difference between the two? I was under the impression that the 700p can not multitask. So would that mean that you couldn’t listen to music and play a game or text message?

I have a Axim 50v that has windows mobile 2003. Im very used to the windows os and was thinking of getting that. But if its not released then I might be forced to get the 700p.

So really what are the differences in functionality??

On PalmOS, you can still play music in the background while doing other things, just like you can be in a call while doing other things. For the most part though, palm doesn't keep every single application open after you open it up. The only big hw difference between the two will be the screen, palm will be 320x320 vs windowsmobile's 240x240.

If you're used to the axim x50v, you might wanna look at the 6700. That would likely be a better fit for you.

Well i never really played with the 6700, ive played alot with the 650 and the 700 in stores. To me i think the 6700 would be too bulky and i realy like how the 700 is like a phone. But overall if the 700p has a better screen then it will probibly almost be better than the 700w?

I wouldnt have a problem picking up another OS. But i really like the wm5.
