that may also be why.

i dont know if they have stopped doing it for free or not. but a lot of the perks you can get a based on your plan/ what you pay a month.

im not saying he CANT get it because of his plan. im saying because his plan is so cheap already the CSR's may not want to give it to him

or

Your plan is already cheap, just pay for it :p

or

If you cant afford it dont get it! :p

The people at Sprint saying that I don't qualify for any more discounts since my plan is too cheap already ... especially on Line 1. Hey, if I been with Sprint for this long, with 8 phones, paying close to $180 a month (about $22.50/phone), wouldn't they want to keep customers like me?

I had a $40/1000 retention plan, pretty common.

Nights were at 8pm and no earlier. I believe the rep because I get hooked up anytime I contact Sprint (#) so why would they deny me this. I see you have it at 7pm, I think it's a different plan from mine.

Just switched to a normal plan and got 6pm free 1st try.

You should be able to get free 7pm pretty easily and pay the $5 difference to get to 6pm.

Its probably because of all the free stuff I have.

i'm sorry okay this is the way it works they'll give u rebates, but only for certain things, i got early nights & weekends for free, n then after a couple of calls to various departments i got early N&w's at 6am for free, then i called again to get free 500sms msgs, so for the early N&w's i get a 10$ rebate + another 10$ for the sms...so i dun think its a bad deal, + i get 8% discount now, AND YES I HAD A SERO ACCOUNT when i got the free perks, + recently i got Sprint 2 home free for one year, thinkin of gettin more discouunts, but i really dun need anything...im fine with this plan, its just luck + who you talk to , specially in what department, and how you talk n explain yourself...so if i call them asking for FIMF or something else, its k for them to say noo noo U gotta pay now, bk we (sprint) already paying 30$ per month in customer appreciation / loyalty credits for 2 years...i think sprint is the best service with the sero...every1 in my family switched once they got the sero information...:)

I also tried to get the 6pm by writing one of those emails to customer care. I did get a response within a couple of hours and was told that I could have the 6pm start time but it will cost me $10 more a month :(

your plan was luck and a reps first (and probably last) day on the job.

each rep that has given me a freebie(many many reps :) ) is still working for ecare. you make friends with the reps and they take care of you... such is the same anywhere you go. purhaps i'll go as far as... 'favor for a favor'. it's good to have friends in high places.

what is your favor to them?

tdowlingjr

understood, the only problems is that you are not guarantee the same person every time you send a msg. If you can get a relationship setup with the same person that works great. I can't even get the same person to cut my hair every 6 weeks. ;)

what is your favor to them?

usually beta/unreleased sprint files.. altho some have wanted other things as well as my services range far and wide. i find it easier connecting with the 'geekier' reps. i provide favors/services wherever i go. i prefer 'bartering' rather than present day money exchange.

well you asked :)

I think more people should barter... get some use out of what you know. Money is just so boring.

Wouldn't it be cool if there were certain things you could do for Sprint and get rewarded for them without using $$... such as telling 30 of your friends about Sprint to get free nights at 7PM or something(yeah i dont know how something like that would be tracked... its a loose example).

If it is possible with just about any plan then could you help me figure out why they kepp telling me

Let me inform you that , the any other discount offer is not combinable
with the Nationwide Volume Pricing Discount. As you are already
receiving the 8% NVP Discount, we will not be able to add the additional
discount code to your account.

There can be only one type of discount configured on the account.

with that discount I am only saving about $8 bucks a month and I still have a bill between a $100 to $130 a month . Been with for over two years got two lines with alot of bells and whistles just trying to get the bill more into my current budget

I stand corrected. A sprint loyalty employee just called me and told me that she will go ahead and give me the 6pm option and give me an extra 20% off my bill. So now my total discount comes to 45% off with my company and the loyalty discount. So I guess the extra 20% makes up for the $10 charge for 6pm option.
