QUESTION: Does anyone know if eCare can give TEP?

I got my A900 in January and last week asked eCare if they could add TEP for free. Am I wasting my time or should I keep asking? Thanks.

i think this has been asked before. ther is someone on this site that does have it for free. but i dont now how they got it. IMO you are wasting your time. TEP is from a 3rd party company so sprint cant give it away for them. also, you have to add TEP within 30 days of getting your phone, if you hae not added it yet i dont think you will be able to.

two things, one if you add it outside of 30 days you have to find a sprint rep that is willing to bend the rules and even then Lockline is more than likely to reject any claim made due to the fact that TEP was not added withing the first 30 days. Or straight up and out after 30 days you just cant add it. Now I have seen select cases where we added TEP for a cust and had the cust wait 22 days, after that time if lockline has not taken the TEP off you can more than likely make a claim safely. But in reality after 30 days you cant get TEP, you can get ESRP though which is better than nothing.

I emailed them 3 times a day everyday for 2 years. After a couple thousand emails, they crack:

I did get TEP free for Two yrs, b-cuz my ppc6700 dont have SprintTV.
I requested to the trade-off with that.....CSR agreed

what? they said there was no trade off, which i agree with, you know the phone wont do it when you buy it. like they told me in the store. "if you want sprint TV get a different phone"

but yes i too asked ecare the same thing and they still said no.

can i see you email, to and from ecare? you an pm it to me if you dont want everyone to see/flame you for it.

1st I called CSR, told CSR how to setup SprintTV on my phone (play dumb) CSR, said "OK" punch something the computer. 30sec later...she said "done~! now I will transfer the TECH Dept. they will help set it up. and Thanks for calling Sprint with Nextel.
After the TECH Dept, the TECH guy is not possible to SprintTV on the PPC 6700.
I told the TECH guy put a note on to my account about that. Then he transfer me back to CSR...different CSR now, told her what happen....she read the notes, then she said "how can I help with that?" thats when the trade-off started.

well, you mean the $3...bc $3 is for lockline, and $3 is for ESRP.
