I want to learn more about Skype .. Yahoo messenger w/ Voice ...on PDA phones

Ok... so Dear felllow sprint users.. .help me understand this whole VoIP ... skype/y.mess craze...


Now if I have a VoIP service...

- I can make phone calls from my cell phone at 2 cents/minute?? that's $2 for 200 minutes
- I can accept calls for $2.50 a month ??
- that's about a total 4.50 for my 29.99 sprint voice plan ... (but w/no unlimited night/weekends) .. but you get the picture..

- Skype mentioned they were beta testing Skypein that there are some quirks that need to be fixed... To the people who have Skype.. what kind of problems have you encountered with Skypein?

- Evdo vs. 1x? ......... Does the quality of the phone calls differs depending on your internet connection??

- Does sprint have an INternet only plan... so when their Evdo network is nationwide... there will be no need for a voice plan with these low prices......

the only internet only plan for EVDO is for a connection card or for a phone as a modem plan.

I think the best internet only plan would be through T-Mobile I think its 30$/mo
