$25 Referral Credit [Archive]

is there a site or where can i go to check on the status of a credit, i was suppose to get that $25 visa card they are giving now but it has been way over 6-8 weeks and still nothing, i sent an email to e-care and the link they sent me to was for nextel users.....any idea anyone??? :confused:

Did the person you reffered keep thier end of the deal, and pay thier 1st bill on time? I did a refferal a month ago, and I got my yellow card today.

^ i think if it goes through that means u were approved or so i was told... if it said something else when u did the ref offer then it didn't

... so far its been exactly one month since i did the ref offer.. it says 6-8 weeks so hopefully i'll see it sometime in may

It was a Thank you for the refferal, and you'll get your $ in 6-8 weeks type of text. I got the text on Friday, and Moday the card came in. :p It took about a month for me to get the $.

Hey everyone, I don't mean to hijack this thread or anything...

I put in for a referral credit only a few days ago. Thing is, the person who referred me is leaving Sprint for another carrier. She had been on Sprint for 5+ years. What are our odds of getting the credit? Thanks.

It did take a little time just to get the card in the mail, however, I referred on person at one time and then a 2nd person like 2 weeks later, Got one card in the mail and it contained $50 on the card. Supposivly once you receive this card your supposed to hang onto it, so in the future they will credit you the referral Credit on the same card, which is a nice conveinence. At the sametime I would still prefer the old system where they would usually end up crediting my Account within a week or two from when I put in for the referral.

You are not a New Customer - There is no referral for a resigned contract.

Oh ok ok , I got it now , because I have done it in the past .. back In June/July?

I know my friend had been with Sprint before but he said he got a new deal cuz his contract was up .. so he was like Tony , call in and refer me .

I got a $25 credit .. so yeah ..

I did not know so I asked before doing so : ]

I know when they used to apply the credit directly to your bill they would make you wait like 30 days or something before you got the credit. If that is still the case, you may have to wait longer now bucause of that stupid card they send you. Instead of crediting you bill.

If your bro is a new customer and your a customer now, You can refer him and both of you will get the $25. If he keeps the acount for a month and pay his first bill. He can't then refer you because you are already a customer in this sinerial. Hope that helps.

Probably - they didn't start issuing cards until Sometime after December - I got my wife a phone for Christmas and we both got the $25 credit & not a card - so it has only been a 4 month or so program...

Would it matter if i change phone number after i did the referral ?
say i did the ref with phone#555-1234 and then a week later i change/port my number say phone#444-4321 ? will there be any problem getting the Gift/Debit card ??

Yeah, that was just to process it I guess. On the paper work it says that the referral was on 4-27-06, but it was actually 3-24-06. So about 5-6 weeks.

Also remember that the $25 VISA gift card is also available for each line of service you signup for. Ex: If you refer your friend who signs up for 3 lines of service, call #REF on each line and do the referral using that phones cell # and you will get 3 $25 VISA gift cards.

12 in a calander year. you can do them all in 1 week if you want.

Can you get a referral credit if someone adds a line to his/her service? Like if my cousin has one line and adds another, can someone(not him of course) get the credit? just curious.

I have done referral credits between lines on my account successfully. I do not believe you are "supposed to" be able to do it, but no harm in trying and it will most likely still work!
