I must of missed something if there is some.....I teach in Virginia and have been with sprint since 2004. I dont mind their service my phone sucks but I am hoping that in Oct (exactly 2 years) I can get a new phone I can re-up my shared family plan and get a better plan with a discount. We play 99 bucks right now for 800 min, shared....insurance on both phones, roaming on both phones, tax etc.... Am I doing something wrong? Is there something better? Please help.....as you know teachers are not poor but we are not rolling in it either. Thanks!

Correct me if I am wrong(and I am sure you will) but teachers are considered Government Employees. Yes you should get a discount. Not sure about Va, but in NC it is normally around 10-15% off monthly. A care rep should be able to get this applied no problem. Retention should be able to issue a credit for missed discounts. Thanks for being a teacher!

as long as you are a public education teacher you will qaulify for the Micta public education discount of 14% off of your monthly rate plan only, not on phones or accessories

Is it virginia college?
teachers are considered "state" employees and recieve around 15% (usually)

As far as the plan goes, it seems that around $100 after taxes and a few add-ons is the norm for a 2 line plan. :hmmm:
